BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with Children 1st in their search for a Senior Corporate Fundraiser.

Children 1st are Scotland’s National Children’s Charity. Some children have little to smile about. They’re determined to give them reasons to.

Children need to be happy, healthy, safe and secure. Children 1st help Scotland’s families to put children first, with practical advice and with support in difficult times. And when the worst happens, they support survivors of abuse, neglect and other traumatic events in childhood to recover. Their vision is for safer children, stronger families and resilient communities.

Children 1st enjoy a glowing reputation in Scotland and strive for the best in all areas of their work. Some of their fundraising initiatives are amongst the most creative and innovative.

They are now looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to focus on the Dragons’ Glen challenge. The task is simple: teams pitch business ideas to Children 1st’s panel of Dragons and in return receive an investment of £500 and mentoring from their Dragon. They then have five months to turn the investment into £5,000 or more to help support vulnerable children. Previous teams have included Skyscanner, Wood Group PSN and SSE. The 2017/18 challenge raised over £45,000.

This role will require excellent organisational, presentation and project management skills as well as a solid corporate or events background. Reporting to the Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will also work with the wider fundraising team to maximise income from corporates including establishing charity of the year partnerships as well as working with trusts and foundations.

If you have energy, enthusiasm and exceptional relationship management skills, and share a passion for making a difference to children’s lives, we want to hear from you!

This search is being conducted exclusively on behalf of Children 1st by BTA.
