Shelter Scotland helps over half a million people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through advice, campaigns and support and legal services to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to it for help.

The charity provides a wide array of services throughout Scotland. The Business Development and Fundraising Teams work closely to generate the much needed income to fund these projects.

Shelter is now looking for an experienced Trusts and Lottery Manager to build partnerships with grant-making trusts and foundations and the Big Lottery Fund so it can deliver its ground-breaking programmes in Scotland.

As Scotland Trusts & Lottery Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding high-value new trust and lottery grants. You will help to develop and deliver a trusts and lottery fundraising strategy for Scotland and be responsible for identifying, researching and cultivating new trust prospects.

Shelter’s Trust and Lottery Team currently raises £3.7 million each year and the target for the team in Scotland will be around £1 million. To achieve this you will develop a portfolio of warm funders including the Big Lottery Fund, STV Children’s Appeal, Oak Foundation, Comic Relief, Robertson Trust and Cattanach Trust.

If you are a results-driven fundraiser with experience of working with high-value funders and meeting ambitious income generation targets then please contact us today!
