When you Wish Upon a Star aim to give children and their families something to look forward to through times of uncertainty with the additional burden of financial and emotional stress which serious illness can bring. The charity allow the family to put their child’s illness to one side as they have fun and create precious memories.
Since 1990 they have proudly granted over 17,500 Wishes across the UK. They are able to grant the wishes of hundreds of sick children and their families every year through community and corporate fundraising and donations. This role will lead and manage the fundraising activity in Scotland. The charity are looking for an experienced fundraiser who is confident in building and growing relationships with donors and volunteers alike. You will develop community fundraising activity including organising events and working with volunteers, at all times helping to raise the charities profile and income in Scotland.
