ILF Scotland’s goal is to make independent living a reality for all disabled people living in Scotland and Northern Ireland. They do this through: • The ILF Scotland 2015 fund, which provides on-going monthly awards to disabled adults, and; • The ILF Scotland Transition Fund, which provides one-off grants to young disabled people.

The role of information and how they manage and share it enables ILF to make informed improvements to services and honour its position as a Public Body to keep the Scottish and Northern Ireland public informed of how they work and, importantly, at all times maintaining a focus on independent living.

They are now looking to recruit a Business Improvement Support Officer.

The successful candidate will have some knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018, the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011. You will also be an excellent communicator at all levels, have very strong organisational skills with an ability to solve problems and implement solutions creatively in partnership with colleagues and other key stakeholders.
