BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with Worldwide Cancer Research in their search for a Communications Manager.

Worldwide Cancer Research funds innovative cancer research all over the world, finding the best projects that sit right at the beginning of the research journey. The charity kick-starts the life-saving advances of the future by sowing the seeds of new discoveries today, funding brand new ideas and supporting researchers who ask big, challenging, new questions about how cancer works and how we can control it.

Worldwide Cancer Research takes a global approach to solving a local problem because cancer affects people in your city, your street, your family - but the answers could be found anywhere in the world…

To help bring forward the day that no life is cut short by cancer, the charity is looking for a Communications Manager.

Do you thrive on sharing great stories? Do you have a natural flair for copywriting? Do you love securing high quality press coverage locally, nationally and internationally? Do you enjoy working with people and building relationships with colleagues, suppliers and the media? Do you have creative skills and a bag full of ideas? Do you seek opportunities and flourish when juggling a varied workload? And can you inspire staff, supporters and Ambassadors to tell our story raising awareness of the charity?

Then you could be the charity’s Communications Manager! Joining the team at a crucial milestone in the organisation’s history, you will seek opportunities for owned and earned PR and media activity, add value and promote awareness of the charity internally and externally and ensure key messages are clear, concise and compelling for multiple audiences ensuring awareness raising is at the heart of every task.

If you are hungry for a hive of communications activity, have solid and active contacts in the media, excellent written and interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm, this is a fantastic opportunity to deliver outstanding communications to support the charity’s brand, fundraising and research activity and develop your career as part of Team Worldwide.
