BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with The Cabrach Trust in their search for a Chief Executive.
Something amazing is happening in the beautiful Scottish Highlands that is of the past but very much for the future.
The Cabrach in Moray was once a thriving hub of activity, with whisky distilling and farming its main industries. It’s now on the verge of extinction. A fight back is underway to preserve its history and breathe new life into the local community through an ambitious and exciting rural regeneration plan. The Cabrach Trust is driving this project. The centrepieces are a new Heritage Centre and distillery with multiple other initiatives sitting alongside.
The vision is set. Pledges of almost £2 million have already been secured with £4 million still to raise. All that is needed now is a Chief Executive who shares the Trust’s commitment and determination to make this a reality.
You will need to have significant previous experience of leading on a similar project which came to a successful conclusion. You will understand the funding environment and have secured significant sums of money in support of your previous campaigns. You will be a master at managing complex and varied stakeholder groups as well as co-ordinating a diverse staff team. Previous experience in a social enterprise or managing a charity’s arms length trading company would also be useful.
If this type of project puts fire in your belly, you’ve had previous similar experience in leading a project like this and are looking for the challenge of a lifetime, then please consider this opportunity.
This search is being conducted exclusively on behalf of The Cabrach Trust by BTA.If you, or anyone that you know, would like to find out more about this role, please email [email protected] as soon as possible for further information prior to making your application.
