Due to growth of the team, Capability Scotland are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual for the role of Trusts and Foundations Officer. As part of the Fundraising team, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real difference.
The new Trusts and Foundations Officer will play an integral part in Capability Scotland’s fundraising team. This person will play a key role in the charity’s fundraising activities, with a focus on raising funds from grant giving organisations to help this wonderful charity meet its service delivery and growth objectives. As well as researching new funders, you will be responsible for matching the charity’s projects and services with funding opportunities, to maximise income potential.
The post holder will have two years’ experience of fundraising through income streams such as grants and trusts or will have 1 years’ experience in Trust and Foundations fundraising with a background in the third sector or another fundraising stream. For this role, you must have excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively. You will have excellent experience in project management and strong stakeholder relationship management. We are looking for someone who has success in bringing in small and larger amounts of funds and is passionate about their work.
