Working across South Ayrshire, the charity helps people turn their lives around to get back to a place of health and happiness.

Three Sixty has been promoting mental wellbeing throughout South Ayrshire, with a focus on recovery and empowerment, since 1987. Three Sixty deliver activity-based supports to to individuals aged 16 and over who are affected by mental ill health, including their families and carers when appropriate. The charity implements this by putting coaching, community and connection at the heart of mental health support and recovery. The aim of the charity is to help those suffering from mental health issues to come full circle.

The charity is looking to recruit a new Chair and two Directors (Trustees) to join their board. The charity is looking for people who are passionate in their belief of recovery, mental health and empowerment.


Three Sixty are looking for a resilient and self-aware Chair with similar previous experience (either as a Chair or Chief Executive). The incoming Chair should be comfortable taking a hands on role as and when required with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritise decisions with timely action. The Chair will be an assertive and compassionate leader, able to hear and allow people to be heard alongside the ability to read people and situations. Committed to collaboration whilst able to deal with conflict and make decisions in the best interests of the Charity.

Ideally the incoming Chair will come from a background in community, social care, social work or other appropriate voluntary sector background. The Chair must have held a leadership in at least one of these background areas.


Three Sixty are looking for two Directors with previous board experience and a strong understanding of good governance, strong communication skills and a commitment to positive social change.

The Director will have a background in either community, social work, social enterprise or a voluntary sector background. Three Sixty are interested in applicants with experience in fundraising, HR, finance and strategy and volunteer engagement. Previous experience within the voluntary sector is desirable, however not essential.
