Charity Careers Scotland is made available to You on the following terms.
Charity Careers Scotland is a jobs board. You (the candidate) may use Charity Careers Scotland to:
- Look for a job.
- Subscribe to daily or weekly job notifications.
- Seek advice via our advice section.
- Apply for a job.
- Register to keep track of your applications for jobs advertised on Charity Careers Scotland.
Charities looking for staff or volunteers in Scotland, use our jobs board to advertise their positions for up to 30 days.
- If you are looking for a job that is not in Scotland and not for a charity then this is not the site for you.
- By registering on our site, you are signing up to receive notifications about jobs that Charity Careers Scotland thinks are suitable for you. If You do not wish to receive these you can unsubscribe at any time.
- By subscribing to a search for jobs on our site you are signing up to receive notifications about jobs that Charity Careers Scotland thinks are suitable for you. If you do not wish to receive these you can unsubscribe at any time.
- We may retain your personal data that has been provided by you or about you after termination and we confirm that we shall comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and under the confidentiality provisions in respect of any such data.
What Charity Careers Scotland is NOT responsible for:
- Charity Careers Scotland is not involved and takes no responsibility for the content of the adverts, the amount of money offered, or who is interviewed for the positions that are put up on our jobs board.
- Charity Careers Scotland is not a recruitment agency. Registering with our jobs board and applying for jobs through our jobs board will not guarantee you will get a job. Ultimately this is the decision of the Charity.
- All advice, opinions, recommendations, information and data produced or developed by Charity Careers Scotland or other parties are intended to assist in the job seeking or recruitment process. Charity Careers Scotland is not responsible for checking the accuracy, validity or completeness of this information. We will not be held responsible for those who do not get a job after taking this advice or if you do not agree with the thoughts, opinions and advice published via our Jobs board.
- Charity Careers Scotland takes no responsibility for the actions of the charities posting jobs on our site when it comes to notifying applicants of the outcome of their application. Generally charities are very nice and will let candidates know but if they don’t, we can offer no input to this. Do let us know if a charity doesn’t get back to you though – it’s useful feedback for us and we can perhaps use this to guide charities in the future.
What Charity Careers Scotland is responsible for:
- Charity Careers Scotland will not allow anyone to search for or view any CV’s that you upload to your account on our site.
- When you apply online and register your account with us, we store your confidential information and details. This information will not be shared with anyone.
- Charity Careers Scotland will not use or disclose your personal data in any way unless required to do so by law.
- Charity Careers Scotland has the right to update the terms of use on this site when it feels the need to.
- You can request your Charity Careers Scotland account to be deleted at any time and we will endeavour to remove all information as quickly as possible.
What You are responsible for:
