Vision: A world where everyone is safe from sexual violence

Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre (FVRCC) provides specialist support for anyone, age 13+, affected by sexual violence in the Forth Valley area. FVRCC provides free and confidential information, advocacy, and support to anyone affected by sexual violence. This includes survivors of sexual violence, their friends, and families. FVRCC also provide advice, support, and training to staff in other agencies who are working with survivors. The centre is a women-led, feminist organisation and feminism underpins all the work that they do. FVRCC believe that no-one is to blame for the sexual violence they experience. FVRCC offers all survivors, regardless of their gender, a safe space and support.

FVRCC is now looking to recruit a Treasurer to join their Board. The charity is looking for a Treasurer to lead on financial oversight, budgets, banking, governance, reporting and audit oversights. Previous board experience is not essential however the Treasurer will have strong experience in understanding financial statements as well as knowledge of financial risks and processes.

It is an exciting time to join the FVRCC board. The organisation has just secured core funding and have plans for future growth to fill the gaps for people who are not yet accessing their services. FVRCC are a greatly ambitious organisation with a very proactive board.
