Scotland National Manager

Looking for a unique opportunity to lead the strategic development of a leading Sport for Change charity in Scotland? If so, we might have the role for you….

Sported, is a membership organisation working with 3000 member organisations around the UK to tackle the challenges facing young people.  We focus on helping community groups survive to help young people thrive.

As we enter our 10th year, we are entering an exciting new phase of high profile, high level partnerships that will further support our UK-wide membership whilst significantly growing awareness of our work.

The Scotland National Manager will be central in building the profile and network of Sported in Scotland. Key focus will be on maintaining and developing new strategic relationships with partners from a number of sectors, whilst holding an overview of the operational delivery of key projects to our 200 plus members in Scotland.

In addition to your strong inter-personal and communication skills you will have experience of working within high level partnerships and an understanding of the funding environment in Scotland. An understanding of the sports and Sport for Change sector and will be an advantage.

Using your considerable skills and experience you will be able to identify opportunities for partnership and project development across Scotland and continue to grow the reputation of Sported within the Sport for Change sector.  Working with a small team based in Scotland, you will be responsible for building the network of Sported members and supporting as many as possible to benefit from the range of Sported’s services available – including our 30-strong volunteer workforce.
