Description

Aberlour Options - Dundee provides tailor-made packages of support to parents and children. We work in partnership with parents and families to increase the parenting capacity of parents who have a learning disability and or autism. We have an asset-based approach to support families to stay together and achieve positive outcomes for children and parents.

This specialised service offered by Aberlour Options - Dundee enables children and young people to grow and develop - accessing their local area, broadening their experiences and not just meeting their needs but reaching their full potential.

"Without the provision of Aberlour Options - Dundee and the range and quality of the support it has provided, this young person may not have moved into adulthood as ably as they have and been able to undertake college, social settings and been as independent as possible, looking towards living within her own community. The family also may not have managed to move on with their lives as they have done, had they not had the confidence they now have in her being able to manage more independently; being able to draw on wider support and experiencing the things she has. This is a direct result of Aberlour Options - Dundee" - Professional in Dundee
