MS Society are currently seeking an enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join their Fundraising and Events team.
Joining their dynamic Community and Events team as they embark on an exciting fundraising journey in the UK. They are on the lookout for a passionate Community Fundraiser to help them achieve their ambitious goal of raising £1.8m+ in 2024. Building on the success of their 2023 fundraising efforts, this role offers a unique opportunity to expand community fundraising with the enthusiastic support of individuals affected by MS, their friends, families, and local group members.
Working within their vibrant fundraising department, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to breaking down the barriers and delivering exceptional service to supporters at entry level. As a Community Fundraiser, you will have the freedom to hone your skills, forge relationships with grassroots supporters, and maximise income.
Ideally, you will bring experience from a similar role on the charity sector or coming from a sales/business development background, showcasing confidence, enthusiasm, and outstanding customer care and communication skills. Experience of cultivating support within a large geographical area would be advantageous.
