Corbenic Camphill Community is home for people with social, emotional, intellectual and learning disabilities. In the beautiful surroundings of rural Perthshire, Corbenic provides residential and day-care services. While an independent charity, Corbenic is also part of the International Camphill Movement for social renewal through community living.

Corbenic provides a variety of workshops including a farm, bakery, gardens, estates, woodwork and crafts that all help provide a sense of purpose, responsibility and dignity.
Fundamental to the future success of Corbenic is the relationships between the staff and residents. Staff are encouraged to bond with residents, families, social workers and other key stakeholders, and become visible and well known within the community.
The Care and Support Manager will work in partnership with colleagues across the senior leadership team to manage a vibrant community that reflects the Camphill culture and ethos. They will be responsible for the operational overview and management for the provision of care and support within the residential and day services and ensuring consistent regulatory compliance.
Corbenic requires the Care and Support Manager to have a successful track record of operating at a senior level and a minimum of 5 years in management and experience providing formal supervision. To apply for this role, you must have the SVQ Care Sector Leadership and Management Award (Level 10). Anyone applying must be able to evidence a willingness to be directly involved in service provision as this role will involve operational management and service delivery. Alongside this, developed knowledge and understanding of social care and associated legislation with direct experience of the Care Inspectorate is required. The Care and Support Manager must have specific experience working in residential care as well as experience across a range of other care settings and bring a calm, composed and supportive management style with authentic authority. To be effective in this role, you must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written across different media) across stakeholder groups, highly organised with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload effectively and adaptive in approach and sensitive, empathetic, supportive and decisive.
