Voluntary position (with expenses paid for meetings and events)
To enable the organisation to meet the ever-changing & growing challenges of the skills system and economy, CDN is expanding its Board and is seeking three outstanding new members to join in 2020.
Applications are being sought from individuals across the UK who have a passion and interest in advancing modern skills development. This is a highly enjoyable and varied board experience, and a high-profile opportunity to directly influence the quality of education in Scotland & further afield.
Prior board level experience is not a pre-requisite for the role. Although applicants from all backgrounds will be considered equally, CDN is particularly looking for individuals who have professional or non-executive experience in the fields of
· Digital learning and communications
· Commercial training and personal development
· Working across and between the four nations of the UK
Board members would be expected to attend 5 meetings each year. Consideration will be given to making video conferencing facilities available for meetings.
Although primarily based at our offices at the University of Stirling, the role will also involve travel throughout Scotland and further afield, for which expenses would be payable for business travel, accommodation and subsistence in line with our expenses policies.
