Description

BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with SAMH in their search for a Community Fundraiser.

Would you like to join Scotland’s national mental health charity and be part of its incredible growth and success story?

SAMH has been the voice of people most affected by mental health issues in Scotland since 1923.

The charity operates 60 services in communities across Scotland providing mental health, social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services among others. These services, together with its national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living inform SAMH’s important policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

SAMH’s fundraising began in earnest in 2011 and the achievements and expansion of the charity has since been phenomenal. They are now looking for a Community Fundraiser based in Edinburgh to help them continue this journey. Are you willing to walk the walk as well as talk the talk? You will maximise community and events fundraising income to meet or exceed income targets through the development of excellent local relationships, creating opportunities to give, and positioning SAMH as the charity of choice within the community.

If you have the skills to build great relationship and thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same then this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

SAMH offer a range of benefits including 30 days annual leave with a further 4 days public holidays, childcare voucher scheme, workplace pension etc. Mindful of their mission they also offer an extensive Employee Assistance Programme which includes a telephone and face to face counselling service.
