It has provided essential services to local people affected by substance use, their friends, families and communities in Aberdeen and the surrounding area for over 30 years; working hard to achieve positive outcomes for their service users.
ADA was formerly known as Drugs Action but changed its name in 2016 to more accurately reflect the range of services delivered by the charity. It is the lead provider of harm reduction and recovery services in Aberdeen and is renowned for its innovative approach in this sector.
The charity is now seeking a CEO to take the organisation forward while maintaining its excellent services and reputation. You will need to have all the management and financial management acumen to provide effective leadership as well as extensive experience in stakeholder and partnership relationship management.
You need not be an existing third sector leader but should have a background in supporting vulnerable groups. You will need to be committed to giving service users a strong voice within the organisation.
